Welcome to the "Rock Boogie Lead" lesson. This is the third lesson in this series and builds off of parts 1 and 2 ("Rhythm" and "Riff"). Here we look at a Rock'n'roll solo inspired by Chuck Berry. We explore the varied uses of the minor pentatonic scale with doube-stops. Tone-wise I am using the bridge pickup on my tele to help the sound cut. I am using a simulated Fender amp with a Tubescreamer-style pedal and a little spring reverb from the amp.
